Real warm summer weather. Good turnout at Molesey including Tom, John H and Dennis.
The ride was led by Roger with Bill H., Dave, Harold (photos to come), Alan, Lynda, Bill and Pat M., Ron, John C and Geoff plus yours truly abd Fuzz. We took the road through E. Molesey to W. Molesey and then right around the reservoirs to Apps Court where we turned left to Walton. We went straight through the town to avoid a diversion for roadworks near the day centre, then over the bridge to lower Shepperton, Chertsey bridge, through Windsor Street and up Thorpe Road. We were a bit early so a right turn towards Thorpe Village then left towards Virginia Water and under the M26 brought us to our pleasent lunch at The Rose and Crown at Thorpe Green which is having quite a tart-up with extended outdoor dining arrangements but very good and quick service, After lunch Mark arrived and showed us how the hospital had got him wiref up to check his ticker. They did it to me many moons ago. At this stage I was only about three miles from home and the rest were going for tea at Hampton Court, so I came home-------------------Albert
